The most important sight in Hahnenklee is "Gustav-Adolf-Stabkirche", a Nordic style stave church built in 1907/08 made entirely of wood. motorway A7 Hanover-Kassel, exit "Seesen", in "Seesen", get onto county road towards "Lautenthal", in town turn for "Hahnenklee". In Hahnenklee follow the main road, the is situated at the end of the road.
From North:
motorway A7 Hanover-Kassel, exit "Rhuden". Change for B 82 and drive to Golsar via "Langelsheim", then keep driving on B 241 direction "Clausthal-Zellerfeld" until you see signs for "Hahnenklee".
From West:
motorway A44 Dortmund-Kassel until "Kasseler Kreuz", there change for motorway A7 Hanover-Kassel, exit "Seesen". See above for further descriptions.
From Berlin and Magdeburg:
motorway A2 Berlin-Braunschweig, drive on A 391 towards "Braunschweig Sudwest", at motorway junction "Braunschweig Sud-Melverode" change for A 395 to "Bad Harzburg". Exit "Goslar", get onto B6, take exit "Clausthal-Zellerfeld", keep driving on B 241 until exit for "Hahnenklee".
By train:
Goslar central station (about 17 km away), from there direct connections to Leipzig and Halle; Aachen-Essen-Dortmund; Frederica-Padborg (Denmark)-Flensburg-Hamburg; Norddeich-Bremen; Ottbergen-Hoxter-Holzminden or InterCity to Cologne.
By plane:
Hanover Langenhagen Airport (about 90 km).
From the airport take a train to Goslar and change for the bus to "Hahnenklee".
