Restored from a 14th century Carmelite monastery but with large modern rooms, this Il Chiostro Del Carmine of exquisite character is just a few hundred metres from Siena Cathedral and the Piazza del Campo.

The choir room is now a congress and meeting hall, with a capacity of up to 80 people. Concerts and open air events take place in the monastery cloisters.

Next to the monastery is the San Niccolò Church, dating back to the 13th century. Hanging here are important frescoes and paintings from Beccafumi and Manetti.

-Take the A1 motorway.
-Exit at Valdichiana in the direction of Siena.

-Exit at Firenze Certosa (from both toll gates the city is connected by a dual carriageway).
-Follow directions given below.
-Once in Siena take the link to Porta San Marco.
-Go through this gate and turn left.
-Go straight until the traffic lights and continue straight ahead utnil you see the large building on your right. -After passing by this building, turn right into Via Ettore Bastianini.
-After passing by the gate ZTL continue for another 200 metres. Then on your left side you will find our parking place; it will be closed by an electric red and white bar. It will be necessary to call the to open it.
-You can also ride till the end of the street, then turn left (Via Bastianini n° 4) and walk to the building in order to inform the staff about your arrival; they will be glad to open the car park for you.
