| Green Arches B&B - Bed and Breakfast: ... environmental issues that are likely to affect us all, so during our refurbishment, we have attempted o reduce our carbon emissions to do our bit.Green Arches benefits from 40 solar evacuated tubes (20 tubes outh facing and 20 tubes west facing), which is estimated to provide all our and guests’ hot water needs fr 6 months of the year and up to 30% of our hot water during the winter.We also have solar tiles installed(south facing), which generate up to 1.5 Kw of electricity. In practice this has equated to over 1,100 KWh(units on the meter) in the past 12 months. The surplus of our usage has been fed directly back...
